Playlist: Clifton Taxi

Hello again. Having put up the new header made my feet kick. A kick brought back by the creative spirit. Since then I've plunked a few chords on the guitar, hints of perhaps a new song accompanied of course by vocal melody gibberish. No lyrics, you see. Not at infancy. Just a lot of "hoobah-rah-dee-dahs" and "suh-vuh-shuh-rumdums," etc., strum-strum, etc. With a want to keep the mind chattering, it would not be long before a new playlist would be served up. Ordering these songs into a personally considered sense of order is a good time indeed. Since I'm posting these playlists, I thought it would be nice to put a face to these song sets aside from the playlist name, you know? So back into photoshop and out with a cover. There ya go. Done. Kick.

Here's the new joint. It's a playlist with more upbeat bites, unlike the relative dysphoria of the previous playlist, the dead december. To think that life can be tracked by what one listens to is a phenomenon.

And a beautiful one, at that.

Park Entryway. New! New!! New!!!

Certainly this blog's previous "pointing a gun to my head" theme splashed upon your welcome was not something you'd buy your kids a yeah-yeah, gimme-gimme season pass to. Here's the new gate now for insta-joy pour vous but don't get too giddy! The rides are the same. Though the benches are sturdy and plentiful. And yes, the corn dogs still rock.

I spanked this photoshop bloomer this morning while listening to The Luyas. It's garbage day. The sun is finally out. I can see it peeking through my heavy orange curtain.

Lastly, I got tired of seeing myself shoot myself every time I stopped by here. I have plenty of that kind of rubbish to deal with in my head. This blog is meant to rid of that unpleasantness, not cement it. I've been meaning to change the banner since late, late last year. It was good to get the mind chattering again and putting this together. So blog, there blog. I hope you like your new hat.

I need to get a ferris wheel in this place.

Ferris wheels are awesome.

Spin Tile Spin

I spin tile with my feet
Spin, tile, spin
of black and white and yellow and speckled
Don't let the horror beyond these laces
stand crooked,
nerves breathless,
to dummy among those so fitfully awake
Tan, confident men in gold chains
Shy, select girls in pink pullovers of mink
Them that do look, see the ticks ahead
and tock along with their steps, yeah walk ahead
while I remain down,
spinning
tile with my feet
How can I step sly with the weight in my head?
So spin, tile, spin
Just spin
